C&C Day #2 - part 1

I was awoken by soft voices and sounds of movement from the other guys. I guess it was time to wake up. I went outside, and the sky was partially lit. There were already some others waiting at the lounge area next to the 'aquarium', or shuffling in and outta the toilets. Upon entering the toilet, i saw a crowd of ppl brushing teeth, waiting to use the sink or cublicles. I found an unattended toiletry bag and used the tooth paste for myself. Splashes of cold water on my face really helped to liven me up further.

Soon, we were all called outside to the carpark for warm ups. The ground was still wet from last night's raining and the air was cool, still and fresh. so cool that it felt like as if i was in another country during autumn time. It was a nice feeling undescribable completely by words. The instructor Junxu turned up in his singlet and shorter-than-short shorts. We did standard warmups like stretches and jumping jack, then kenny and hq was invited up front to demonstrate the 'dance' that we had to follow after. Super lame.

Then, a stream of ppl came into the compound carrying bags of packed food for breakfast. We were saved from more morning exercises. We went to the usual eating area for a breakfast of beehoon with fake meat (soya bean product) and veggies. It was in a very large quantity, even larger than a lunch portion. We sat in our groups to eat. Nobody in my group managed to finish it. Hazel was the closest to finishing, but gave up when theres only another mouthful left. Wasted, but she was still crowned the biggest eater of Hammerhead. The runner up was Joel Chua. I ate all the meat n veggies but hardly touched the beehoon.

We then had a time of mass devotions in the chapel before being dispatched into our own groups for more devotions. At 9, we went back to chapel for session 2. This time i cant remember anything taught. The session scheduled to last until 11.

The next hour was reserved for cleaning up the area of whatever messes made the day before. I spent that time practicing rubber band shooting with the rubber bands colected from the breakfast packets. High score: 39 (15 shots)

At 12 it was time for lunch. Cant rmb what was served, but good quality as usual i guess.
